Professional Experience …

Sandra gained more than 20 years of experience in the airline industry. As CFO and Managing Director of Lufthansa Technik in London, later as Vice President for the subsidiaries in Hamburg and Los Angeles with more than 1,000 employees, she has actively shaped change.

Sandra could gather comprehensive experience in various leadership positions in Germany and abroad – from the restructuring and stabilisation of three sites to performance improvements and organisation of a cross-site association.

Through her work together with customers, partners and locations in different countries, she has experienced how much can be reached when you actively approach people, learn to understand their convictions and gain their trust.

One theme that fascinates her: it’s always about people, communication and collaboration.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Sitting in a beach bar with my husband, having a cocktail, listening to music and looking at the sea.

Which historical figure do you most admire?

Nelson Mandela.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Travelling for several weeks to great destinations like Namibia and Curacao and working on our “travel bucket list”.

Who are your heroes in real life?

People who have a kind word for everybody.
